Councillor Paul Lobley BEM was unanimously voted in by his peers to become Mayor of the Ripley Township until May 2024 at the Annual Meeting of Ripley Town Council on 16th May 2023. 
 
The Deputy Mayor for the coming year is Councillor Lyndsay Cox. 
 
This is Heage resident, Cllr Lobley's second time as Mayor of Ripley, having conducted the role in 2018-2019. He will be accompanied to engagements with his Consort, Mrs. Janette Lobley. 
 
Cllr Lobley will be supporting Amber Valley CVS Befriending scheme during his term as Mayor.
